I am so excited to welcome you to our blog and start updating you on the progress Padme is making.... so far the opening is scheduled for December 2009. We will be located 2701 n Street (between 27 and 28th Street). So far we are waiting to see the plan for the studio before constructions start. I will take some photos and post them this week.
Padme means LOTUS, symbol of life, strength and beauty.
The idea behind Padme is not to create "just another yoga studio", but to have a true yoga community around the FULL meaning of yoga, not just the physical practice but Bhakti yoga, the yoga of devotion, of giving, sharing and supporting each other.
Our first commitment is to build a "green" yoga studio and we welcome any idea from the community to help us in this endeavor.
